The BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund, known as BUIDL, now holds $481.81 million in assets on the Avalanche blockchain compared to $422.72 million on Ethereum, TronWeekly reported. BlackRock reallocated its flagship tokenized Treasury fund on-chain, leading to Avalanche surpassing Ethereum in asset allocation for the fund. [1]

The BUIDL fund was originally launched on the Ethereum network in March 2024. TronWeekly reported that Avalanche is now the third-largest chain for the fund, positioned behind Solana, as institutional tokenization expands beyond a single network. [1]

BlackRock is an American multinational investment manager headquartered in New York City. Founded in 1988, the firm has grown to become the largest asset manager in the world. [2]

The reallocation demonstrates how institutional tokenization of real-world assets is increasingly moving toward multi-chain infrastructure, TronWeekly reported. [1]
