Cardano has used 457.4 million ADA of its 500 million ADA treasury withdrawal limit as of October 16, 2026, CryptoSlate reported. The milestone leaves approximately 42.6 million ADA, or 8.5 percent, of the approved allowance available for new funding decisions. [1]

Thirty enacted treasury withdrawal actions originating from epoch 613 accounted for the 457,395,629 ADA spent, according to CryptoSlate. Incoming funds and refunds do not replenish the drawdown limit, which remains capped at 500 million ADA for the period ending around July 3, 2027. [1]

The operational restriction exists despite the Cardano treasury holding a total balance of roughly 1.38 billion ADA, CryptoSlate reported. Future treasury withdrawals must either fit within the remaining 42.6 million ADA capacity or wait for a newly ratified withdrawal limit. [1]
