The Ethereum exit queue has decreased to 767,000 ether following validator exits by MetaMask, according to The Defiant. At the same time, nearly 1.44 million ether is waiting in the entry queue to begin staking on the network. [3]

The Defiant reported that the amount of ether waiting to begin staking has dropped by 31 percent since September 1. However, new validators attempting to enter the network still face a delay of roughly 25 days. [3]
