Daily transaction volume on Robinhood Chain dropped 42 percent between mid-September and early October, CoinDesk reported. Network activity fell from an average of 10.8 million daily transactions during September 10 to 16 down to 6.2 million during October 2 to 8, based on calculations using growthepie data. [1][7]

CoinDesk noted that activity declined 20 percent from the preceding week alone. The network slowdown occurred even as Robinhood continued to cover transaction fees for customer swaps and while more than 1 billion dollars remained deposited in applications on the network. [1]

Robinhood launched the blockchain in July to support token trading, borrowing, and lending. The network uses Arbitrum Layer-2 infrastructure to deliver 100-millisecond block times while inheriting Ethereum security and maintaining EVM compatibility for financial applications and tokenized real-world assets. [1][9][10]

As FTMQ Crypto reported earlier, Robinhood Chain is also evaluating a paid transaction-ordering mechanism developed by Arbitrum. The technology, which Arbitrum recently updated from Timeboost to Priority Gas Auctions, would allow users to pay a fee to prioritize trade execution speed. [2][10]
