Robinhood Chain is evaluating a new transaction-ordering mechanism that would permit users to pay a fee to prioritize specific trades, according to CoinDesk Markets. The network operates as a Layer-2 blockchain focused on tokenized real-world financial assets. [1]

The transaction-ordering technology is being developed by Arbitrum, which supplies the underlying infrastructure behind Robinhood Chain, CoinDesk Markets reported. Arbitrum recently replaced its previous Timeboost transaction-ordering framework with a system called Priority Gas Auctions. [1]

Robinhood Chain utilizes Layer-2 infrastructure from Arbitrum to achieve block times of 100 milliseconds while inheriting the security of the Ethereum network. It maintains compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine and connects directly with the Robinhood Wallet to support tokenized asset platforms and financial applications. [8]

CoinDesk Markets noted that the proposed transaction-ordering technology operates independently from the chain itself. The system provides users with a priority-sequencing advantage, but project managers have not announced an official date for implementation. [1]
