Slippage reduces arbitrage profits on Nvidia stock tokens
A study by Coin Metrics showed that price spreads between Nvidia stock tokens yield minimal profit once slippage and access rules are calculated.

Tokens tracking Nvidia shares can trade at varying prices across different issuers and venues, but execution slippage eliminates most arbitrage profits, CryptoSlate reported on November 4, 2026. Data provider Coin Metrics published an execution study on November 3 that modeled two 1,000 dollar comparisons. The study found that visible price gaps shrink sharply once entry and exit slippage, fees, and redemption access are taken into account. [1]
In one 1,000 dollar comparison, Coin Metrics found only about one basis point of profit remained before fees. In a second 1,000 dollar comparison, the potential return dropped to negative 15 basis points. CryptoSlate noted that share adjustments and access restrictions further complicate attempts to capture these price differences. [1]
Nvidia Corporation is an American multinational technology firm based in Santa Clara, California. Founded in 1993, the company produces graphics processing units and hardware for artificial intelligence applications. Its GPUs excel at parallel processing tasks for machine learning models, supported by its CUDA software framework. [2][3]
The findings demonstrate how visible price differences across crypto exchanges and token issuers can vanish during actual trade execution. [1]
