Artificial intelligence firm Anthropic released a personal finance tool for its Claude chatbot on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, Decrypt reported. The integration permits users in the United States to connect their bank accounts to evaluate spending habits, track upcoming bills, and view remaining balances. Crypto investor Anthony Pompliano publicly accused Anthropic of seeking inside information from his competing startup, Silvia, months prior to launching the product, according to Decrypt. [1]
The new features enable Claude to analyze transactions across linked bank accounts, Decrypt reported. The assistant can summarize user expenses, identify duplicate charges or unexpected fees, clarify interest payments, and create interactive charts and calendars for upcoming bills. [1]
Anthropic is an American software developer that first released its Claude artificial intelligence chatbot in March 2023. The organization also produces AI-assisted software tools, including the terminal coding agent Claude Code and the non-programmer application Claude Cowork. As FTMQ Crypto reported earlier, Anthropic submitted an S-1 registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Oct. 26, 2026, to list Class A common stock on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol ANT. [3][6]
As FTMQ Crypto also reported earlier, Anthropic generated $16.3 billion in first-half 2026 revenue while recording a net loss of approximately $80 billion over the same period. Neither Anthropic nor Pompliano has disclosed further details regarding legal actions or formal dispute proceedings. [1][6]
