Bitcoin network transaction fees dropped to the minimum network relay floor on Sunday, according to CryptoTicker. Data from mempool.space showed the fee estimate for the next half hour at one satoshi per virtual byte. A standard withdrawal from a cryptocurrency exchange to a personal wallet cost approximately 12 cents. [1]

CryptoTicker reported that Bitcoin traded at approximately $81,685 on Sunday morning. Price feeds from Kraken showed $81,684.70, Coinbase listed $81,718, and the 24-hour average stood at $81,398. Overnight trading moved between $80,655 and $81,961, representing a spread of just over 1.6 percent. [1]

The Bitcoin protocol secures its network and validates transactions through a proof-of-work mechanism. Miners compete to solve computational puzzles to add new blocks to the blockchain and receive block rewards. These rewards halve approximately every four years to enforce a hard cap of 21 million bitcoins. [4]
